Hästens Beds

Designer: Peter Weed, Architect

We worked closely with Architect Peter Weed on selecting carpeting for the West 18th Street Hästens Beds retail store.

Our stunning line of nylon cut-pile carpet became the solution because of its residential look and ability to hold up in ground-level retail traffic. It also didn’t hurt that the carpet came in the perfect shade of blue to match their iconic logo, saving the client time and flexibility on their renovation time line.

Truffle is a durable carpet made from goat hair. Its durability makes it ideal for commercial spaces with a lot of traffic, but it can also make an excellent choice for residential use because of its clean lines and fun color selection. Truffle’s ribbed structure allows for cutting into various shapes without fraying and maintains a clean edge even without binding.
