In his spare time, Matthew is a volunteer EMT in Ridgewood, Queens, and a volunteer firefighter. He is also the founder of EMSaccess, Inc. a 501(c)3 focused on best business practices for the volunteer ambulance community.

LED lighting is an essential conversion linked to energy efficiency, zero UV emissions, eco-friendliness, and design flexibility. In this introductory course, topics on how to integrate and apply LED lighting in design, LED lighting specifications, optics technology innovations, and the advantages of being “small” are discussed.

- Understand the pros and cons of different types of LED lights.
- Learn the appropriate applications for LED lights.
- Observe the four lighting layers and what types of products are required to make the spaces look three-dimensional.

- Factors to consider when specifying LED lights and the material relationships, as well the advantages and benefits of being small.
