The Empire Collection is a portfolio of handmade custom rugs named for its home state. The handwoven and hand-tufted rugs are as luxurious to the touch as they are to the eye, with a rich quality combining traditional carpet-making techniques with natural fibers such as wool, linen, alpaca, jute and tencel. Aronson’s has partnered with its trusted European mill which has the ability to deliver the rugs within a remarkable 6 – 8 week lead time.

Aronson’s is seeking sales representation for the Empire Collection for various territories throughout the United States. The ideal candidate is an established independent multi-line representative with a broad base of established contacts in the specifying and purchasing community.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an organized, analytical administrative coordinator with exceptional communication and problem solving skills to add, update, maintain over 3,000 flooring samples and swatches, in addition to providing general administrative support. The administrative responsibilities, including but not limited to, updating, replenishing and maintenance of samples, and the willingness to be trained to support both, the sales and operations staff.

The Job Description

+ Ensure physical swatches and samples are continuously up-to-date, available and in the database.
+ Achieve 100% accuracy on label information for the swatches and in the database.
+ Maintain relationship with vendors and arrange periodic visits on new products to share with the staff.
+ Provide administrative support to sales and operation personnel.
+ Pull and track of showroom samples, client swatches.
+ Assist with special projects such as in-house events and trade shows.
+ Maintain specifications, warranty handled by manufacturers.
+ Place in-house samples orders.
+ Upkeep of samples on showroom floor.
+ Coordinate the return of samples with vendors.
+ Pull samples for project managers.
+ Backup front desk reception as needed.

The Job Description

Provide administrative, office and sales support services to four (4) Project Managers. In addition, coordinate monthly special events, and work on ad hoc projects as needed.

The Ideal Candidate

A motivated and result-oriented individual to join our growing sales team. This is a unique career opportunity for someone who is familiar with or has worked in design, architectural environments. Experience in working with luxury flooring projects is highly desirable, but not required. Our Project Manager (PM) solicits, cultivates, and manages existing and new accounts that are made up of interior designers, architects, and general contractors. The PM is responsible for the overall successful completion of each project, and has the propensity to solve problems. The ideal candidate is articulate, well organized, confident and charismatic.

+ Ability to quickly conceptualize a client’s project requirements, and offer the appropriate options and alternatives based on available products and resources.
+ 3 to 5 years of inside / outside sales experience in a high-end luxury brand environment.
+ Proficiency in reading floor plans, Mac OS, Filemaker and CRM.
